Nothing About Us Without Us.
Our Work
Migrant Massage Mutual Aid
Red Canary Song is invested in those who experience the most surveillance and policing and don’t have legal protections. Current goals and projects include:
Weekly Outreach
Health Care assistance - medical care as alternative to policing in anti-trafficking.
Oral History Project - a survey of labor conditions run by Dr. Elena Shih from Brown University
We operate as a grant and donation funded grassroots collective. Please consider donating to support our work. Donations are tax-deductible.
Policy
Red Canary Song is committed to working towards decriminalization of sex work and migrant massage work.
Click here to learn more about the Massage License Decriminalization Act, which addresses the discriminatory use of massage Licensing laws to criminally prosecute low wage workers.
Community
Red Canary Song is dedicated to building coalitions and community with parallel organizations and movements. We stand in solidarity with:
Butterfly Asian and Migrant Sex Workers Support Network
DecrimNY - Red Canary Song is in coalition with other organizations across the city in the push to decriminalize sex work.
#FreeThemAll - Red Canary Song is in coalition with several prison abolitionist groups (including Survived and Punished) standing in solidarity with demands such as releasing everyone from prisons, jails, and ICE detention facilities as well as keeping them out and stopping policing during a global health crisis.
