Migrant MASSAGE WORKER MUTUAL AID

Red Canary Song prioritizes the bettering of labor conditions of Asian migrant workers as an acknowledgement that those without a clear path to citizenship suffer from increased policing and surveillance without legal protections. See some of our ongoing projects below:

• AAPI Migrant Coalition Meetings

• Bi-weekly Outreach: hygiene, groceries, clothing, emergency cash, connection to legal, medical, translation services, know your rights training, harm reduction supplies and education

• Policy and Advocacy for migrant worker rights and sex worker rights

• Art installations and vigils

• Oral History Project: a survey of labor conditions run by Dr. Elena Shih (Brown University)

• Solidarity work with CITG and Flushing Worker Center
