Since a large portion of our membership based is comprised of Asian American sex workers, Red Canary Song also aims to create mutual aid for Asian American laborers who have participated in sex work. Such mutual aid and resource sharing comes in the forms of dinners, outings, art events, and other sex-worker-only programming, and usually occur on an event-by-event basis. Members of Red Canary Song also participate in a language exchange with migrant workers as part of our outreach.

Sex Worker Art Pop Up: March 2020

Members of Red Canary Song staged an installation as part of the Sex Workers Pop Up Art Show, a free exhibit featuring artwork and performances by and about sex workers from around the world. This installation bridged Red Canary Song’s history in street-based organizing and its vision for the future.

Red Canary Screams

A fundraiser for Red Canary Song featuring members from all over the Asian American underground. This event included performances from the best of the best of Asian American drag and burlesque communities, as well as art and tattoo auctions
